The diodes protect from over-voltage caused by Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT) and lightning strikes (Surge). Würth Elektronik WE-TVS series comes in a standard, high speed, and super speed series and is available in different pin configurations and case sizes.

Wurth Electronics WE-TVS High Speed Series High Performance TVS Diodes are the best choice to protect high speed data lines like USB 2.0, DVI or LAN from over-voltage caused by ESD, Electrical Fast Transients (EFT) and lightning strikes (surge) with a very small capacitance. These sturdy-designed diodes feature a low clamping voltage, very low capacitance, a flow-through design for simple layout, and rail-to-rail protection. This series is available in uni- and bi-directional components. Würth Elektronik WE-TVS diodes exceed the requirements outlines in IEC 61000-4-2.
