P-0S-LRP Voice-DS1 SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors: Littelfuse P-0S-LRP Baseband (Voice-DS1) SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are designed to protect baseband equipment such as modems, line cards, CPE, and DSL from damaging overvoltage transients. The DO-214AA components provide a surface mount solution that enables equipment to comply with global regulatory standards. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The P-0S-LRP thyristors feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, low capacitance, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS Compatible, Lead-Free, and Halogen-Free.

Baseband Voice DS1 SIDACtor Protection Thyristors: Littelfuse Baseband Voice DS1 SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors focus on addressing the performance and regulatory requirements of baseband telecommunications equipment such as voice, modems, and DS1. SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices designed to protect telecom equipment during hazardous transient conditions. Utilizing a patented ion implant technology, effective protection is ensured within nanoseconds. The components offer an overvoltage protection solution that helps applications comply with Telcordia GR-1089 Issue 4, ITU-T recommendations K.20, K.21, K.44, and K.45, and TIA-968-A.

SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors: Littelfuse SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are thyristor devices used to protect sensitive circuits from electrical disturbances caused by lightning-induced surges, inductive-coupled spikes, and AC power fault conditions. Leveraging the latest in thyristor advancements, Littelfuse offers SIDACtor devices with a patented ion implant technology. This technology ensures effective protection within nanoseconds, up to 3000 A 1.2-50-8/20 surge current ratings, and simple solutions for regulatory requirements such as GR 1089, TIA-968-B (formerly known as FCC Part 68), ITU-T K.20, ITU-T K.21, and UL 60950-1. In the standby mode, SIDACtor devices exhibit a high off-state impedance, eliminating excessive leakage currents and appearing transparent to the circuits they protect. If a voltage exceeding the switching voltage (VS) occurs, the SIDACtor devices crowbar and simulate a short circuit condition until the current ﬂowing through the device is either interrupted or drops below the SIDACtor device's holding current (IH). When this occurs, SIDACtor devices reset and return to their high off-state impedance.
