NCL30030 Quasi-Resonant Flyback Controllers: ON Semiconductor NCL30030 Quasi-Resonant Flyback Controllers integrate power factor correction (PFC) and quasi-resonant flyback functionality. This integration allows the NCL30030 to implement a compact and highly efficient LED driver for high-performance LED lighting applications. The NCL30030 have a wide 9V to 30V VCC range with built-in overvoltage protection. The PFC has accurate overvoltage protection and uses proprietary multiplier architecture for low harmonic distortion. The circuit has the necessary features to build a robust and compact PFC stage while minimizing the number of external components.
