FPF2595 IntelliMAX™ Load Switch: ON Semiconductor FPF2595 IntelliMAX™ Overvoltage, Overcurrent Protection Load Switch is an advanced load-management switch for applications requiring a highly integrated solution. The FPF2595 disconnects load powered from the <6V DC power rail with stringent off-state current targets and high load capacitances (<100uF). The FPF2595 features a slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET switch (35mΩ typical) and integrated analog features. The slew-rate controlled turn-on feature prevents inrush current and the resulting excessive voltage droop on power rails. The FPF2595 also offers over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. FPF2595's True Reverse-Current Blocking (TRCB) function obstructs unwanted reverse current from VOUT to VIN during ON and OFF states. The device's extremely low off-state current drain of <2µA maximum facilitates compliance with standby power requirements. A logic input (active HIGH), capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signal / General-Purpose Input / Output (GPIO) without an external pull-down resistor, manages switch control. With an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 VDC, FPF2595 supports a large range of consumer, medical, optical, portable, storage, and industrial-device power management applications.

IntelliMAX™ Advanced Load Management Switches: ON Semiconductor IntelliMAX™ advanced load management switches help designers increase system protection and reduce complexity in their designs while achieving greater system power and reliability. For smart devices and portable storage devices that require a high current capability and low ON-resistance solution for power path management. ON Semiconductor FPF1038, FPF1039, and FPF1048 IntelliMAX smart load switches offer an ON-resistance of 21mΩ and 23mΩ and an input voltage range of 1.2V-5.5V and 1.5V-5.5V, demonstrating exceptionally low shutdown current drain to help facilitate compliance in low-standby power applications. The optimized slew rate controlled turn-on characteristics with TR=2.7mS prevent voltage droop on supply rails with bulk capacitances as large as 200µF. FPF1048 also offers True Reverse Current Block to avoid unwanted reverse power regardless of the device being on or off. FPF2165R and FPF2195 full-function load switches with adjustable current limits are suited for applications with physical connectors, like USB and HDMI™ devices, that may encounter large current conditions. FPF1320 and FPF1321 devices are suitable for wireless charging applications with a dual-input single-output (DISO) load switch. These Fairchild switches perform seamless power-source transitions between two input power rails using the SEL pin with an advanced break-before-make operation. FPF1320 and FPF1321 are designed to interface directly with low-voltage control signal General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) applications.

PF2x Over Current Protected Switches: ON Semiconductor FPF2x Over-current protected switches prevent excessive current and trigger one of three fault conditions. Auto restart will automatically shut down the part and attempt to restart at the defined "auto restart time" interval until the fault is cleared. The Shutdown feature will automatically shut down the part and requires a power cycle on the "ON" pin to clear the fault. The Constant Current feature will limit the current to the fixed or user-defined value.
