PTVS High Current Power TVS Diodes: Bourns Power TVS (PTVS) Products are high current bidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diodes designed for use in AC line protection and high power DC bus clamping applications. These devices offer bidirectional port protection from 58 volts to 470 volts, and are RoHS and UL listed while also meeting IEC 61000-4-5 8/20μs current surge requirements.

Power Supply Design Solutions: Bourns offers components for linear and switch mode power supplies that provide high reliability performance in smaller, more compact designs. Bourns is continually achieving improvements in miniaturization and packaging with circuit protection, circuit conditioning, and position control products. Bourns delivers the standards-based solutions OEMs can rely on to fulfill ongoing technical demands.

TVS Diodes: Bourns surface mount TVS diodes are low capacitance devices that provide ESD, EFT, and surge protection for external ports of electronic devices such as cellular phones, handheld electronics and other portable electronic devices. Bourns TVS Diodes include smaller chip diodes that have the capability to provide a silicon diode with minimal packaging overhead. The chip diodes 0603, 1005, 1408, and 2010 are leadless, allowing for maximum space on PCB layouts. All Bourns diodes are RoHS compliant and meet many worldwide industry and government regulations on lead free components. TVS package diode design kits are also available from Bourns.

High Power TVS Diodes in SMD Package: Bourns High Power TVS Diodes in SMD Package provides a 20% reduction in peak clamping voltage compared to the equivalent through-hole device because of its lower lead inductance. The result is reduced electrical stress on the protected circuitry. In addition, assembly should be simplifi ed and costs can be reduced by eliminating the extra design step in cases where the Power TVS diode is the only through-hole component on the printed circuit board.
